⭐ Fields of Mistria patch v1.0.2 is here! This patch contains some QOL updates as well as bug and crash fixes. As always, thank you to everyone who reported bugs and provided feedback to us!

[New Features]

🎨 Art

• 🌼New hairstyles have been added to the default menu and to Vera’s stall.

[Updates]

🖥️ Performance

• Improved performance when other programs, such as AMD and Nvidia's proprietary game overlays, are rendered in the same window as Fields of Mistria.

🎨 Art

• Additional collisions have been added to the beach pier.

🌎 Localization

• Additional translations have been added in French, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

• 🌼Some Simplified Chinese translations have been updated.

[Bug Fixes]

🎮 Gameplay

• 🌼The Shooting Star Festival softlock has been fixed.

• 🌼Fixed a bug that caused Animal Toys to be unremovable (when it mistakenly thought an animal was using it). They can now be removed with the pickaxe when not in use as intended.

• 🌼The new home exterior letter from Landen now arrives at the correct time. The carpenter’s shop and the player’s home must be fully upgraded to unlock the new home exteriors.

• 🌼Mimics no longer give rewards when fed invalid items such as tools.

• 🌼Player can no longer receive multiple Big Eggs.

• 🌼Animal Festival now works for players whose birthdays were on Winter 10th.

• 🌼Players can no longer glitch their way into the Bell Tower before it’s unlocked.

• 🌼Tools no longer mistakenly stack in the player’s inventory.

• 🌼Fixed a bug that caused the mystical feather to be dropped in the Dragonsworn Glade instead of the players’ home if their inventory was full.

• Mimics no longer drop pet skins without the “Friend Shaped” perk being acquired.

• 🌼The “Time Flies” achievement now works as intended.

• 🌼Adjusted item drop rates for monsters in the final Mine biome.

✨ QOL

• Updated collisions to reduce players getting stuck in corners and on objects.

• Fixed a typo in Balor’s post-birth line.

🎨 Art & Visuals

• 🌼The statue of Caldarus can no longer accidentally be shown holding a baby.

• Children no longer appear during date cutscenes.

• 🌼The Mine’s Elevator interaction range has been adjusted.

• Doorway transition collisions have been adjusted.

💛 NPCs

• 🌼Josephine’s Harvest Festival dialouge now fires correctly.

🔊 Sound

• Mount footstep sounds updated to the correct mounts.

🌎 Localization

• 🌼Certain Friday Night at the Inn dialogue in localization betas no longer crashes the game.

• Rock clod localization in the quest log no longer appears as “MISSING”.

❌ Crash Fixes

• 🌼Fixed a bug with animal sounds that could cause the game to crash.

• 🌼Destroying a 10 Heart item while it’s restoring the player’s stamina/health no longer crashes the game.

• 🌼Certain home configurations no longer crash the game at the start of the wedding cutscene.

• 🌼Fixed a crash involving mana usage.

• 🌼IO errors (file access) no longer crash the game.

• 🌼Interacting with the Bell Tower ladders in quick succession no longer crashes the game.

• 🌼Interacting with the menu while on a mount no longer occasionally crashes the game.

• 🌼Enchanterns going out of bounds in the Mines no longer crashes the game.

• 🌼Unlocking the Big Chicken mount if the player has no mount no longer crashes the game.

• 🌼Rapidly navigating around the Dragonshrine menu no longer crashes the game.

• 🌼Fixed some rare crashes that occurred on start-up.

These are some high priority issues we are aware of and actively working on.

• We are working on additional performance and graphical optimizations.
